Condition: Eye floaters. Purpose of visit: Fundus examination and consultation. Treatment outcome: Symptom relief. Attitude: Helpful and informative responses. I noticed persistent dark spots floating in my vision and sought an immediate examination due to concerns about a potential retinal tear. The physician performed a dilated fundus exam and a B-scan ultrasound, diagnosing the condition as physiological vitreous opacities. I was greatly relieved. The doctor did not overprescribe, only providing some proprietary Chinese medicine to promote absorption and advising against staying up late. Following the treatment, the floaters have become less noticeable. The physician demonstrated high professional integrity.

Condition: Uveitis. Purpose of visit: To control inflammatory recurrence. Treatment outcome: Effective relief. Provider attitude: Meticulous and attentive. I have suffered from recurrent uveitis for several years. The condition would flare up whenever the dosage of Western steroid medication was reduced, which was very distressing. I came here specifically seeking Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) assistance. The physician performed a thorough examination using traditional diagnostic methods and prescribed a one-week course of herbal decoction. After completing the course, the redness and pain in my eyes significantly subsided. I am currently continuing treatment here to gradually taper off the steroids. My condition is much more stable than before. The physician is exceptionally patient.

Condition: Diabetic retinopathy. Purpose of visit: Laser treatment. Treatment outcome: The condition is under control. Attitude: Professional and dedicated. I have had diabetes for over a decade, which eventually affected my eyes and caused fundus hemorrhage. The doctor promptly arranged for panretinal photocoagulation (PRP). Although the laser treatment caused some aching and pressure, the doctor was very encouraging. Following the surgery and the use of the hospital's proprietary traditional Chinese medicine preparations, there is no longer any neovascularization in the fundus, and my vision has been preserved. I am truly grateful for the doctor's exceptional clinical skills.

Condition: Retinal detachment. Purpose of visit: Emergency surgery to preserve vision. Treatment outcome: Retinal reattachment. Review: I experienced a sudden retinal detachment and was fortunate to receive timely surgery here. The lead surgeon demonstrated high professional ethics and exceptional surgical skill, maintaining meticulous precision throughout the procedure. Although the post-operative recovery period requiring a prone position was difficult, the doctor provided psychological support and encouragement during every ward round. The retina is now well-attached. I am very grateful.
