Our story
Our team brings together healthcare and cross-border travel expertise. We saw too many patients abroad facing long waits, high costs, or limited local options. So we built this bridge: vetted JCI-accredited hospitals, specialist access, and end-to-end support, visa, transfers, in-person coordination, and medical records in your language. You focus on treatment; we handle the rest.
What MedicalToChina actually is
We are an independent medical travel information and patient coordination service, not a hospital and not a clinic. We do not employ physicians and we do not provide medical advice. Our role is research, verification, and logistics so that you arrive at the right international department with the right paperwork and a written price.

How we research
Hospital listings are built from public accreditation data (JCI, national health authorities), official hospital international department pages, and our own verification calls. Insurance direct-billing mappings are checked against insurer network directories and confirmed with hospital international offices.
When a data point is incomplete, region-specific, or out of date, we label it rather than guess. We would rather publish less and be right.
Our most distinctive work is an exclusive, multi-year research program that maps how international health insurance actually performs inside China — product by product, hospital by hospital. We verify direct-billing networks, cash-pay reimbursement rules, pre-authorization requirements, and city-level coverage footprints against primary sources, then publish the results as a public coverage checker. No other platform we know of offers this depth for inbound patients.
How we make money (and how we do not)
We charge a transparent service package fee for coordination, concierge, and logistics. That fee is shown to you in writing before you pay.
We do not add a margin to your hospital bill. You pay the hospital's own official international department rate. We do not accept paid hospital placements in our listings.
